Monument Metro Station

Sadler Brown were appointed to carry out conceptual design for the redevelopment of Monument Metro Station.

These designs were subsequently used to obtain funding for future phases of the project.

The current station was constructed in the late 1970s and the station sits directly underneath the Grade I Listed 40m high monument to Earl Grey.

The vision for the redevelopment of the station is to transform the station and surrounding area, encompassing cutting edge design that is striking and bold. The proposals incorporate step free access to the station and platforms, and integrate opportunities for new commercial ventures making the site a ‘destination’ in itself.
