Stephen Miller
Director

Urban design and regeneration is a particular passion for Stephen.  Practicing for over 20 years both in public and private sectors, Stephen has developed a strong reputation for his concept design and feasibility work.

As the Architect behind the nationally recognised  Ouseburn Central Masterplan, a design framework for a sustainable urban village in Newcastle upon Tyne, Stephen has shown an ability to work successfully with a complex and diverse group of passionate stakeholders, from the City Council to individuals living in the community.

Another notable project includes the beautiful and strikingly modern 16 Charlotte Square development, just off Westgate Road in Newcastle upon Tyne, where two listed, stone and brick buildings combine via a substantial, abstract glass intervention to form contemporary hi-tech office spaces.

He is highly experienced and adept at the introduction of modern interventions within listed buildings and historic environments and has won awards and commendations for his work on The Turnbull Building, I6 Charlotte Square, and 85 City Road where he converted an empty warehouse space into contemporary office accommodation.
