Projects undertaken for the Trust include the refurbishment and re-configuration of the Dental Sedation and Radiology Departments to provide state-of the-art surgery, radiology, teaching and support services in the Dental Hospital and general ward refurbishments in the RVI.

These projects are undertaken in live clinical and teaching environments where the greatest care must be taken to avoid disturbance of the efficient running of the hospitals, patients

and teaching staff and where the highest technical standards are required in order to ensure safe and efficient use of the facilities.

Close co-operation between the Trust's clinical, management and maintenance staff, external consultants and contractors in terms of briefing, planning, programming and execution is vital to successful outcomes, measured against time, cost and patient and user satisfaction.
