An extension to an existing sports centre in Alnwick has created a much needed multi purpose space.

The difficult problem of extending yet enhancing Willowburn was resolved by extruding the entrance canopy roof and building under it with a new curtain wall and exposed glulam structure. This forms an open plan double height space and has enlivened a previously blank facade of the building.

We are currently undertaking a number of feasibility studies for North Country Leisure exploring the possibilities of extending further sports and leisure buildings managed by them in Copeland.
