| Description: | This residential development project saw the re-use of two historic walled gardens within Gosforth. The development has created 14 luxury family homes within the unique setting. The Gosforth development is an £11 million project located within the grounds of Newcastle Racecourse and is set over two former walled gardens (north and south), dating from the 18th Century. SBA developed a sympathetic design to complement the historic surroundings including feature zinc and grass roofs, mirroring the glass houses and greenery which have occupied the site for over 200 years. The project won the Best Residential Development category at the Tyne and Wear Property Awards in 2018. |
